Atlanta Water-Quality Monitoring Program

Clean Water Atlanta website. The City of Atlanta and the U.S. Geological Survey began a cooperative long-term water-quality monitoring program for Atlanta-area streams in December 2002. The program includes an extensive network of real-time streamflow and water-quality monitors and hydrologically based sampling of streamwater for bacteria, organic and inorganic compounds, and sediment.
