Rockdale County Water-Quality Monitoring Program

Rockdale County and the U.S. Geological Survey began a cooperative long-term water-quality monitoring program for Atlanta-area streams in 2001. The program includes an extensive network of real-time streamflow and water-quality monitors and hydrologically based sampling of streamwater for bacteria, organic and inorganic compounds, and sediment.
